About The Gigglefits
Get to know the story behind the music of The Gigglefits — an independent alternative multi-genre duo originally formed in New Hampshire and now proudly calling Quinton, Oklahoma their home base. Built on passion, creativity, and emotional honesty, the band creates music that comes from real-life experiences, vulnerable moments, and the deep connection shared between the artists.
Queen Regina Palmer, originally from Oklahoma, is the songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist for the band. Regina has been writing music since a young age, filling notebooks and briefcases with lyrics inspired by life, love, heartbreak, hope, and personal experiences. Her soulful voice and emotionally driven writing give The Gigglefits their unmistakable spirit and sound.
Alongside her is Tony Carlozzi, a guitarist who grew up in Florida before eventually making his home in New England. Tony’s passionate lead and rhythm guitar work blends classic rock energy, blues-inspired emotion, and raw live performance power into the music that drives the band forward.
Often compared to The White Stripes, Jack White, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison, The Gigglefits have developed a sound that crosses genres while remaining authentic, emotional, and completely their own.
Working from their home studio in Oklahoma, the band writes, records, produces, publishes, and distributes their music independently. Their songs are crafted from honest perspectives and engaging stories, bringing listeners into a world of raw emotion and powerful musical chemistry.
Entering the indie music scene in May 2019, The Gigglefits quickly began making an impact. By 2020, the band had already started winning awards and receiving international indie radio airplay. Their music and story have since been featured multiple times in Write Away Magazine and Lazie Indie Magazine, while continuing to earn recognition throughout the independent music world.
By January 2021, the band had successfully self-produced and self-published four full-length albums along with more than 36 singles — a lifelong dream realized through hard work, dedication, and an unstoppable creative drive.
Shortly after forming, The Gigglefits released their first EP, You Can’t Stop This, marking the beginning of an incredible musical journey. During the process, the band quickly learned the realities of independent music production. With limited budgets and an overwhelming amount of material Regina had written over the years, they realized they would need to learn how to fully self-produce, self-publish, and self-distribute their music in order to keep creating at the pace they envisioned.
That determination became part of the identity of The Gigglefits. The band continues to write and release music with the same passion and dedication that started it all — creating songs that are raw, heartfelt, honest, and alive.
For fans of authentic independent music with soul, energy, and emotion, The Gigglefits are a band with a story worth hearing.
